Paperback by Mark Cahill
People have asked me, since I talk to a lot of people and do a lot of witnessing, to write a book based on my conversations with lost people, specifically to those who are seeking and searching—a book that would anticipate their questions and speak to their objections. One Heartbeat Away is exactly that.
So many lost people I’ve talked to want to know, “Is this all a blind faith issue, or can it be a legitimate, calculated leap of faith?” This book provides answers to that question as well as the following:
- Can you prove there is a God?
- Doesn’t evolution disprove the existence of God?
- Can you prove the Bible true?
- What is out there after I die?
All of this information is laid out in a reader friendly style, just as in my first book, One Thing You Can’t do In Heaven. There are many exciting stories you haven’t heard before—from near death experiences, to what certain celebrities believe, to a guy who is a building jumper. He actually jumps from building to building for fun. Of course, I asked him if he had ever missed before! What if I told you his answer was, “Yes.”
Even though this book is written to address issues of sharing with the nonbeliever, it will also be good for those of you who want to be armed with answers to the questions that you know you’re going to get when you are out there sharing and witnessing. You can now have the ammunition to answer their questions, with strong evidence.
Enjoy reading and sharing with others!

MP3 AudioBook CD By Mark Cahill
Many people don’t have time to sit down and read a book, but have plenty of time to listen to an audio recording while they’re driving, exercising, or doing housework or other things. With this in mind, we’ve created an MP3 AudioBook version of One Heartbeat Away, so you can listen and be inspired whenever you have time.
Available only in MP3 format, the disk will play in your computer’s CD or DVD player, in newer car stereos, and can be uploaded to your iPod or other portable MP3 players. Note that it will not play in a regular CD player or in older car stereos, so be sure you have MP3 capability. (If your CD device does not say “MP3” then this disc will not play on it.) However, if your computer can write CDs, you can use it to create your own audio CDs for your car or portable CD player. (You will need 6 blank CDs. If you don’t know how to burn copies of this MP3 to CDs, ask your kids or grandkids–they will probably be able to do that for you!)
Read by the author, this MP3 disc is also a great gift for non-believers who may not sit down and read the book, but need to hear this information.
